UEA

The kids were out of school for UEA weekend and parent teacher conferences, so as a reward for good work (hee, hee) no, just for fun although they are all doing well, we took off to Hogle Zoo. It was all about babies down there. This year the zoo had baby giraffe, tigers, cats, monkey, snow leopard, and most famous a baby elephant, Zuri. There were so many people there, but we had lots of fun. We went with our neighbors, the Thompsons and thank goodness for Kori or I might have lost Kenna. She is little miss independent and speedy fast at looking at everything. The highlight for the boys was seeing the mama elephant go to the bathroom. Honestly, who knew how much water could leave an elephant?

FUN!
Looks like perfect weather and good times for all.
Chase's jacket makes him blend right into that picture so at a quick glance his arms look a tad longish!

Wish I could have come.

hugs!

We try to go every year, but this year was a no go. I would have loved to see all the babies.:(

Sounds like a good way to spend the day though!

That brings back memories. I have pictures of my kids standing in front of the ape measuring arm device. Jaron was all sorts of grumpy because I wouldn't shell out 5 bucks (15?) for an autograph from Karl Malone. Hey, I was a single mom - I could barely afford to get them to the zoo let alone buy them stuff.... I think he got over it, about a year ago.
Looks like good times for you all though. I would love to see the baby elephant.

The zoo is always a fun time. We have an annual pass to the zoo up here. Cooper's favorites are the penguins. Looks like a nice zoo there in SLC and a fun day. Love the hats!

Zoo's are always fun :) I remember going with my Grandpa and my cousins to the Hogle Zoo! Do they still have the drinking fountain that is a lion with his mouth open? Don't know why that's what comes to mind @#!? They gave rides on an elephant back then, too. We'll have to go sometime.

Glad you were able to enjoy UEA.
