Most years for Easter, we head to Grandma's to visit and hit the Mackay Easter egg hunt. A great tradition. This year we stayed home to watch General Conference. When we woke up on Easter, here's what the Easter Bunny had done, string all over our house. Each child had a string with their name on it and had to follow it to find their baskets.
It was over under and through. Our teenager was a little grumpy and could be heard mumbling things like: why did I have to get up this early. I can't believe I have to go through all this dumb sting, etc.
Everyone else had a ball and thought it was pretty fun,
Miss Katelyn is careful and meticulous so she was the last to find her basket, but happy day all baskets were found and there was candy galore.
Kate and Kenna got hats and sunglasses.
Con and Chase got new goggles for swimming and a book. Chase waspretty upset at the "dumb book" at first, but he ended up liking it.

Ooo... that string looks fun. I'd do that Easter bunny job for sure.
Connor looks almost stoned in that first picture, so it is very believable that he complained of fatigue and was grumpy.
(As a late night owl I throw no stones!)
The string seems like it could be a great new tradition. I might just do it again if only to torture Connor!
That is the best idea ever!! You are so awesome! Don't be surprised if I still that idea sometime!!!
FUNNY-at first I thought he had put the string up so that they were trapped and could not venture out until the designated time! But the real idea behind it is even better!
The Easter Bunny hid our baskets up until the day I moved out-I remember those choice mumblings and being less than pleased-ohhh the memories he will have!
I love the girls hats-I have been looking for my girls and can't find them without characters! Where did you find them?
I actually got them at TJ MAX
A couple of my friends do the string thing...so much fun. I had to laugh at Connor...grumpy teenager does NOT think it is fun..heehee:) Glad you guys a a good Easter.
