First Snow

So this actually happened about 3 weeks ago on Nov. 21st, but I'm still putting it on anyway.  We got our first real snow that Sunday.  It was about 4 inches and the perfect kind for snowmen, snowballs, all that.  My girls were so excited, they were first out to play.  Then Mike and I and Connor decided to join them.

Chase is missing from the first few photos cause he was mad about something.  He cooled off and came out later.  The girls and I made the snowman, while Con and Mike tried to see how big they could get the snowballs.  Our snowman fell on his face that night.  We got another foot of snow later that week.  Now it's about gone because we've had rain.  The good news is Beaver was able to open earlier than usual.  I'm going skiing tomorrow and Mike and the kids (minus Connor) are going Saturday.  Yahoo!!

Ahh the wet sticky snow is the best kind.

Now you can ski! You all must be super excited.

I have a feeling what snow there is will be all crusty hard by the time I get north.

We got a bunch of it and that WAS some good snowman snow. Impressive size on the "snowballs". And so...you girls "love" the snowman? are tasting? sniffing? or...
:0)
Pebble opened already. The earliest is has in over 20 years. I have a feeling we're going to get a lot more of the white stuff this winter. We've already had more than we did last year from Nov. through Jan...

Looks like you all had fun though.

If you are going to live here, you might as well learn to love the snow.

Looks like more fun than our snow (just because we usually don't get it and things shut down) It IS fun though when it snows the first time. That's why I like it here. It usually snows one time then it is gone. You get your snow fix and then you are done. Always nice to get out an enjoy it though.
