Finally, we're back. I have sooooo much I want to catch up on, mostly so I can do a blog book and since this is the only journaling I do. However, today I am just going to hit some highlights, then I will be posting all out of order to get all my stuff on.
We have another driver in the house. This is Connor the day his license came in the mail. He is all official now. He isn't supposed to drive with anyone but family in the car for 6 months. This is hard for me. He has had lots and lots of practice and he does really well, but it's hard to let go and not worry. Everyone just tells me to plan on him being in some kinds of accident. True, I guess, but who wants to plan on that? Here's the other addition to our family. It's not Connor's car, the family car, but Connor is the one who will mostly be driving it and paying for gas. We got this from some people in our ward, for a good price. In fact, I bought a car for a bit less than I paid for this new computer. I think that is crazy. We had planned on getting something a little smaller, but when a good deal comes, you take it.
Chase turned 13, another teenager. More on that later, but there sure is an ample supply of testosterone in the house these days.
Kate got round 1 of her braces off. She couldn't stop smiling and asked her Dad to make caramel popcorn. Side note: she asked me to do her hair this way. I almost died of shock.
Kenna is playing soccer. It's her first season, and in her mind she is a STAR. She's pretty funny. Fast, but not really aggressive. That's ok. To be honest, we haven't missed our Saturdays at the soccer field. Most days I want to stand up and yell at the parents. Get a clue people, these are 7 & 8 years olds. They are here for fun, not the World Cup. I get so tired of people yelling at their kids and the team the whole game. Honestly. Sorry for the rant. Guess how I really feel.
Happy Spring!

Wow Conner looks so grown up! Spencer hasn't gotten into a wreck and I am not planning on it. He can take other people in the car now though. It's a big deal for sure. I LOVE the door. Very bold, but it's cool. Nice to catch up with your family again!
Okay that first comment is from me not Spencer. I forgot he was logged into my computer before I posted it. Kids!
Yay!! Lots of catch up posts. I'm looking forward to that.
It must be a very mixed blessing the driving, but letting go factor. Connor looks super excited with his license there. Cute.
Kate looks so pretty with her side braid and white teeth. Hope she loved the popcorn.
What will stage II of her braces be?
The door is fabulous! You could make it a door color a year!
Can't wait to hear more. Thanks for the updates on all the kids!
I want to see pics of your yellow table!! I am going to paint my piano, but am back and forth on the color. I was contemplating an distressed mustard, but I am still on the fence
