Jeans

I need new jeans. I love to wear jeans, I think they can be comfortable and I don't feel dressed if I hang out in sweats or pajama pants for the day. Since I stay home, I don't get into nicer slacks and whatever. Anyway, I HATE shopping for jeans. I don't think there is much that is worse for your sense of self than this. There are so many stinkin cuts and styles, ever brand sizes different. How to know which cut looks best on you, which size. Then who wants to spend $100 on a pair of pants. I don't. I just want to feel like I look cute. And how many real people look like this???
Seriously. Mike's been laughing at me because I've spent so much time trying on dumb jeans and bringing them home and taking them back. I'm sick of buying them, then a day later they stretch out to much, shrink to much in the wash, gap in the back, or slide under my belly when I sit down. AHHHH.

Ohhh yeah!
I haven't had a pair of jeans that actually fit ... well, since I can't remember when! The ones that fit my big ole bum are too big in the waist or...
I'm totally with you on this one. Though I'm afraid that if I did happen to find something that fit I still wouldn't look "cute". Don't have the body for that but it would be nice to try it for a change.
Good Luck hunting.

Dude I hear you. Sometimes I think I need to take up sewing, and design my own line of jeans!

Ahhhh, jeans. I remember those, and the angst I went through.

Now that I am a slave to the elastic band the problems seems moot.

BUT, I don't say that to denigrate your frustration. It is soooo real. The image women in the world hold themselves up to is impossible.

My vote is that you convert to overalls? Hmm, not really you. Dressy sweats? (that is an oxymoron)
Skorts, lycra? No solution.

I feel your pain. In a different way, but it is still pain!

I seriously don't like to shop for any kind of clothing, jeans, skirts, etc...imagine the recent expedition to get a new swimsuit for Hawaii...doesn't get any more depressing than that!
