Weekend in Mackay

We headed up to Mackay this weekend because the kids wanted to go sledding.  I think originally they were hoping Grandpa would pull them behind the snowmobiles, but there wasn't enough snow.  Instead we borrowed some runner sleds and headed to the Mine Hill.  It was super cold, but we had fun anyway.  I do think we would have held out longer, if it hadn't been so cold.  The boys really liked it, but Kate and Kenna wouldn't try the sleds.  They did like riding on the four wheeler.  Even Grandma got in on the action.  See if you can guess who's who.  Does anyone know why I can't drag and drop my photos like I used to?  I can't move them down into my text.  Help

Happy Birthday Chase!

Chase turned 11 on Wednesday and did we ever celebrate him.  He got to go to the movie, the Lightning Thief.  Then we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.  He got to sit on a saddle and everyone gave him a big Texas YEEHAW.  I'll put up the video, but it's all red because it's so dark in there.  Then we had cheesecake and presents.  We didn't do it all the same day though.  It's more fun to spread it out a bit.  He's one happy kid.  Side note, I learned how to do this collage in my Google Tools class. I'm pretty impressed with myself. JK  Honestly, for any of you out there, who are like me and don't have photoshop, Picasa is a really great photo editing tool and it's FREE.  It won't do as much as photoshop, but it does quite a bit.  Super easy to use and makes you  look good.  .

Glasses

My Kennadee got glasses today.  She is extremely far-sighted.  Of all the things she could have inherited from me, I wouldn't have chosen this one.  Sigh.  Oh well, I am grateful for we have glasses, to help her and the styles are much cuter and smaller than when I was little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4v8LTgNcuvk As you can see, she's pretty excited about it.
