Crazy Hair Days

Our elementary schools do silly days during Red Ribbon Week (say NO to drugs!) like at a high school homecoming week. One of the days was crazy hair day. It's funny because during all of Connor's many years of school (he's in seventh grade), he has never participated in crazy hair day. It's just not his thing and he isn't really comfortable with it. Katie's crazy day was first and she really wasn't sure what to do, but didn't want to do much. This is Katie and her friend Gracie, Katie's little pony is orange if you can't tell.
Then there's Chase. He is much more willing to put himself out there. We had fun doing his hair. It was just what he wanted. Kenna also had to get in on the action a little bit. Fun days.

Wow, Grace went all out there!
The orange and blue for Chase is a great choice. Nice complementary color zing.
Hopefully some of the dress up fun will stretch into halloween.

ps.
I think Katies hair looks cute like that!

We have those "days" at our school too. Cooper went with red, white & blue hair this year. The day is followed by our jogathon fundraiser so many of the parents get into the action. I have been know to sport wacky hair myself. They are those days at the school I work at and I love them. Any chance to be an exhibitionist I'm there! It's fun.

That's what Angel's school is doing this week. They have the crazy hair day, inside out day (clothing - though I'm wondering if the teachers will wear their underwear on the outside - anyone remember the bra over the shirt in Splash?) Ribbon day, and on Friday they get to wear costumes... Much more fun than some of the stupid things they come up with at this high school...
The kids look cute! Chase is showing his artistic side eh?
